Welcome to Tenfold
Exploring innovation at the intersections of artificial intelligence, finance, energy and climate tech.
About this post
This is Tenfold's MUSINGS#1. It's should take you 2-3 minutes to read.

Can I share my ideas?
Yes please! If you know me, you probably know how much I love feedback. If you don't know me yet, I really do love feedback. So, first things first, below is a feedback form to get a high-level view of what you're interested in. This should take you no longer than two or three minutes. Unless you also want to share some ideas in your own words. The more the better.
What is Tenfold?
Now, to business. Tenfold is a blog and content universe by TenFutures. It explores innovation at the intersections of artificial intelligence, finance, energy and climate tech. It's deep research, strategic analysis, entrepreneurial musings and the occasional experiment from the frontier. No slop. Just high signal insight.
What content am I producing?
So what should you expect? Well, I'm just getting started and will shape this together with my community. So take the survey and get in touch! But also, I do have a game plan and I'm working on a few pieces in the following buckets:
Editorials: Opinion pieces on topical issues. These should be relatively short-form (2-5 minute read) and provide insight into how I view a particular topic. For example, after 6.5 years at S&P Global, I'm writing a piece about how I view the future of sustainable finance. Watch out for “Trillions. Who cares?"
Deep Dives: Longer form writing on technical topics. These should be longer (5-10 minute read or more) and will dive into specific areas of innovation I'm interested in. And there's a lot to look at! Right now, I'm a little obsessed about how machine learning (ML) is transforming Earth systems modeling. Big tech has been publishing some amazing research in the past few years. And there's an extraordinary ecosystem of modeling and software startups, as well as later stage data & hardware companies powering their way to the market. I'll be writing about that soon.
Applied AI: Practical guides into AI workflows and implementation. I'm a committed user of generative AI tools and am constantly experimenting to build my next agent, workflow or application. I'm also interested in issues of transparency and safety and committed to this blog being substantive, not slop. So you can expect stories about my prompts, applications and more. For starters, I've been doing research into how best to provide information on the extent to which AI is used in content creation. Expect a post on that soon.
Top 10s: Lists of things to know about. What would Tenfold be without top 10 lists? You can expect a lot of straight-forward, short-form pieces (scan in 1 minute or less, read in 2-5 minutes and follow links to go even deeper). There are a lot of things I am thinking about, starting with ‘Tentacles’ my 10x10 matrix of 10 innovation spaces and 10 startups I am looking at.
Musings: Views into my writing and entrepreneurial journey. I certainly do not intend editorials, deep dives, applied AI and Top10s to be boring. But I also want to make sure there's a bit of storytelling in Tenfold. My musings will do just that. Expect open and honest insight into how I'm thinking, what I'm doing, what I'm struggling with, or how I problem solve. All from a more personal point of view.
Staying creative
Did I mention the occasional experiment? If you took a minute to go to the mothership (TenFutures) you may have seen Le Lab. That's my R&D facility where I will experiment with a bunch of stuff. Right now, I'm looking at three things.
First is AI-powered podcasting. You can expect some content produced with Notebook LM soon (if you have not tried it yet, you should).
Second is photography. That's mostly unrelated to Tenfold. But I have projects. And if you're curious, you can always find me on Instagram (content soon).
Third is education. Specifically, I'm interested in writing children's books about this innovation space. Is that even possible? We'll see.
Alright, that's all folks. Stay tuned. And again, take a moment for the survey.

Couldn't agree more, the 'no slop' approach is what we despratly need in the AI and climate tech space, my feed is practically overflowing with low-signal content. I'm especially keen on the deep dives; getting past the headlines to the actual technicalities is where the real work (and fun!) begins.
